Due to the time-consuming nature of this process, which could have benefited employees from more productive tasks elsewhere, Fuchs invested in an F600 deburring and grinding machine from Q-FIN.

\n\nThanks to the three processing stations \u2013 a grinding unit followed by four oscillating brushes \u2013 various work steps such as deburring and edge rounding are possible in a single pass \u2013 and at high speed. \u201eWe didn\u2019t just want to convert manual processing into a machine process; our focus was primarily on achieving very tight edge rounding in the shortest possible time while maintaining high working speed and feed rate,\u201c explains David Welter. \u201eThe Q-FIN machine is perfect for these requirements. Thanks to their double-row design, they contain more abrasive material compared to other deburring discs and exhibit a very consistent pressure distribution. The deburring discs are available in various versions depending on the range of workpieces and the desired deburring or rounding result. To achieve the desired result more quickly, Fuchs uses the Blue Edition with the high-performance abrasive material, 3M Cubitron II.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
